At MMCC, we aim to provide all customers with high-quality repairs and transparent pricing. To help us meet both customer and technician expectations, customers must provide a clear and thorough description of the damage requiring repair.
Please note that quotations provided from photographs, videos, or descriptions are estimates only. While we do our best to provide accurate pricing remotely, hidden damage, previous repairs, oversanding, poor repair work, filler, cracking, deep scuffs, dents, or underlying panel damage may only become visible once work begins.
The condition of the damage can significantly affect:
- Repair time
- Materials required
- Labour involved
- Repair techniques used
- Final pricing
Examples:
- A light scratch may only require minor preparation and polishing.
- A deeper scratch or scuff may require more aggressive sanding, filler work, reshaping, priming, or additional paint processes.
- Some scratches may appear deep in photos but repair easily, while others that appear minor may require extensive work once inspected in person.
- Bumper damage may contain hidden creases, dents, stretching, or previous poor-quality repairs beneath the surface.
Where additional work is required beyond the original quotation, the technician will discuss this with the customer before continuing.
For example:
A bumper corner may initially be quoted at £225 based on what appears to be a light scuff. Upon inspection, if the damage is found to be deeper, previously oversanded, or requiring filler and additional repair stages, an additional charge may apply to achieve the standard expected by the customer.
MMCC aims to restore vehicles to a professional standard. However, if a customer requests a higher-level finish than originally quoted for, further charges may apply due to:
- Additional labour time
- Extra preparation
- Increased material usage
- Specialist repair techniques
- Additional paint or refinishing processes
Mobile Appointment & Time Slot Policy
As a mobile SMART repair service, appointment times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Customers are expected to remain available during their allocated booking day. While technicians will always try to work around customer schedules where possible, unforeseen circumstances such as:
- Traffic delays
- Previous jobs overrunning
- Weather conditions
- Additional repair complications
- Emergency rescheduling
may affect arrival times.
Our technicians may also have multiple bookings scheduled throughout the day. Time slots are therefore provided to help create order and estimated scheduling rather than guaranteed arrival times. For fixed booking rather than flexible booking you can OPT in to our “Fixed priority booking” at an additional charge where technician will be reserved a specific date and exact time of arrival.
