What we offer in Bexley
Bexley is the most forgiving borough we cover for mobile work. Outside the town centres it is largely driveway territory, which gives us room to work around the car and shelter from the weather — and that produces a better finish than a kerbside job.

Paintwork scratches, bumper scuffs and minor dents repaired at your home or workplace, without losing the car to a bodyshop for a week.

The borough runs from the Thames at Erith up to the Kent border, and the two ends need different things from a mobile visit.
The northern edge is more industrial and more estate-based, with a higher share of vans, older vehicles and commercial traffic. Expect more kerbside working and more parking negotiation than in the south.
Family housing with driveways dominates, and the car parc is newer. Off-street space means shelter, room to work around one side of the car, and a cleaner finish.
How it works
No call centre and no vague estimates — here’s the whole process from your first photo to a finished repair.
Share a close-up, a wider panel view, your vehicle details and your Bexley postcode. Mention whether the car is on a street, a driveway or in a building car park.
We assess the damage and explain the suitable work and the quote — including when a repair genuinely isn’t worth doing.
If you’re happy to proceed we confirm availability, access, and the workspace and clearance the location needs.

Outer London suburbia, and the highest proportion of driveways of any borough we cover — from the Thames at Erith out to the Kent border.

Those are the core districts, plus DA1 around Crayford and Barnes Cray. Parts of SE2, SE9, SE18 and BR5 also reach into the borough around Abbey Wood, West Heath, Sidcup, East Wickham and Ruxley — send your postcode and we’ll confirm rather than guess.
DA2, DA3, DA4 and DA9 to DA13 are Kent, not Bexley — that’s Dartford, Longfield, Greenhithe, Swanscombe and Gravesend — so we don’t list them. If you’re over that boundary, tell us and we’ll say honestly whether we can reach you.
Bexley sits along the A2 and the Rochester Way relief road, which is usually the quickest way in and out. Locally, Bexley Village and Sidcup High Street are constrained and Bexleyheath Broadway has parking controls, so for high-street and village-centre addresses we’ll often agree a nearby side street or a car park bay. There’s no Congestion Charge in Bexley.

What actually decides how a repair is done at your address in this borough.
Send photosAcross Bexleyheath, Barnehurst, Blackfen, Welling, Sidcup, Bexley Village and Lamorbey, the majority of properties have a driveway, a garage or off-street space. That matters more than it sounds: it gives us room to work around one side of the car, shelter from the weather and a finish that isn’t rushed. If you have a driveway, say so when you send photos — it changes how we plan the visit.
Erith, Belvedere, Slade Green, Northumberland Heath, Thamesmead and Abbey Wood are more industrial and more estate-based, with permit bays, service roads and communal parking decks. There’s also a higher share of vans, older vehicles and commercial traffic, so the work tends to be more kerbside and more about high-mileage wear than showroom prep.
Since Abbey Wood became an Elizabeth line terminus, daytime parking near the station has become genuinely competitive. If your car sits on a residential street nearby, an early or mid-morning appointment is far easier to work around than trying to hold a space all afternoon — and if your office car park is an option, that’s often the simplest slot of all.
Bexley Village and Sidcup High Street are constrained, and Bexleyheath Broadway has parking controls. For those addresses we’ll usually agree a side street or a car park bay a short walk away and work there, rather than trying to hold a position on a high street.
The northern half of the borough has a fair share of higher-mileage cars, and faded or previously polished paint is common. We match to your car’s paint code and blend within the panel. On aged paint, and on some metallics, pearls and three-stage finishes, the realistic outcome is a very close match rather than an invisible one — and we’ll tell you which before we start.
Straight answers
Most repairers don’t tell you what they’ll turn down. We’d rather you knew before you send photos.
If your photos show one of these we’ll say so straight away and explain what kind of repair you actually need.
Good to know
Yes, the whole borough. That includes Bexley and Bexley Village, Bexleyheath, Barnehurst, Blendon, Upton, Crook Log, Erith, Northumberland Heath, Slade Green, Belvedere, West Heath, Sidcup, Foots Cray, Albany Park, Blackfen, Lamorbey, Welling, Falconwood, East Wickham, Crayford and Barnes Cray. Send your postcode and we’ll confirm straight away.
Yes. DA8 covers Erith and Slade Green, and DA17 covers Belvedere and parts of Abbey Wood and Thamesmead — both are inside our Bexley coverage. What differs in that belt is the parking rather than the distance, so tell us whether the car is on a street, in a permit bay or on a communal deck.
A driveway is ideal and most of the borough has one, but it isn’t essential. We can work kerbside wherever there’s a legal, clear stretch of road alongside the car with room to open doors and set out tools. Tell us which you have and we’ll plan accordingly.
Availability varies week to week, so the honest answer is that we’ll tell you when you ask rather than promise a time now. Send a photo of the wheel and your postcode and we’ll come back with the soonest slot we can actually do.
A workplace visit is often the most efficient option if the car can stay parked for a few hours. We check two things first: whether the site permits a contractor to work on a vehicle, and whether the car can remain undisturbed for the duration.
Yes, and we’ll be straight with you about the result. We match to the paint code and blend within the panel, but on aged or faded paint a very close match is the realistic outcome rather than an invisible one. We’ll tell you which to expect before we start, not after.
Metallics we can usually match closely. Pearls and three-stage finishes are harder, and on those the honest position is a very close match rather than a guaranteed invisible one. Send your registration or paint code with the photos so we can check what we’re working with first.
Three shots do it: a close-up of the damage, a wider view of the whole panel, and a three-quarter view of the car. Add your postcode and whether the car is on a driveway or kerbside. Daylight, no flash. You can send them through the booking page or by WhatsApp.
It depends entirely on the damage — a small kerbed alloy and a bumper needing refinishing are very different jobs. That’s why we quote from photos of your actual car rather than publishing a generic figure. Send them and you’ll get a real number before anyone travels.
It’s the same mobile team, so jobs can often be combined — alloy refurbishment with bodywork repair, or an interior restoration with a premium valet. Mention everything when you send photos.
Ready when you are
Send photos, your Bexley postcode and whether you have a driveway or you’re kerbside. We’ll review the damage, explain your realistic options and confirm whether a mobile visit works for your address.
